Standard cotton is strong and easy to care for. Percale (high-density twill weave) is very durable, cool to the touch, and favored in high-end hotels. Cotton sateen offers a silky, shiny feel, softer but slightly less durable. Room Zero Zero offers hotel-quality bed linen suitable for intensive use.
